Microlino Lite, the version of the all-electric Microlino aimed at a younger audience, has been introduced. The micro-electric, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show, will be available in Europe for a monthly rental fee.
The Lite version of the Microlino, a two-seater micro-electric vehicle, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. With a 12 horsepower electric motor, the mini electric vehicle can reach a top speed of 45 km/h. It has two different battery options (5.5/11 kWh) and offers a range of 100 km and 180 km respectively.
Anyone over the age of 14 can drive this micro vehicle and no driver’s license is required. Of course, this is not the case in all countries. The models Microlino and Microlino Lite are currently presented as competitors to the Citroen Ami. The design of the vehicle is quite minimal, you have to enter the vehicle through the front door.
The design of the car seems to be inspired by the BMW Isetta. Microlino Lite will be the BMW Isetta of today and will keep the Isetta spirit alive. We can say that this vehicle is the most technological version of the BMW Isetta, the favorite of the 1950s.
Although a retail price for the Microlino Lite has not yet been announced, the vehicle has a European-based rental fee. This vehicle can be owned for 156€ per month.
