Kia EV8 will have a range of 800 kilometres

The Hyundai-Kia Group has unveiled the features of its new electric vehicle range called eM. The electric sedan has a range of 800 kilometres and 612 horsepower.

The vehicle, codenamed GT1, has been developed thanks to a leaked document in the Korean media. The vehicle will probably be called Kia EV8 and will replace the petrol Stinger.
The switch to the eM platform will offer greater efficiency than the current e-GMP. The vehicle, which will have a huge battery with a capacity of 113.2 kWh, is likely to use an 800 V motor and the charging speed is expected to exceed 350 kW. Hyundai-Kia will first introduce the eM platform under the Genesis brand in 2025, followed by the EV8 model.
