Porsche is known for focusing on mechanical improvements rather than visual changes when refreshing its vehicles. The 2025 Porsche Taycan has been updated in terms of performance and range, despite no significant changes in its exterior appearance. We’ve detailed the enhancements made to the 2025 Porsche Taycan in our article.
Starting with the changes in engine power, the Taycan Turbo S has seen an increase of 188 horsepower. This brings the total power output to 938 horsepower, allowing the Taycan Turbo S to reach 0-100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds.
The new Porsche Taycan models, including the base version, can reach up to 483 horsepower with the new engine.
One of the major criticisms of the previous Taycan model was its range. The vehicle, built on an 800 V architecture, has seen its charging speed increased to 320 kW. Charging time from 10% to 80% will take only 18 minutes. Finally, the battery capacity of the vehicle has been increased to 105 kWh.
The new Porsche Taycan will offer 191 km more range than the previous base version, providing a total range of up to 587 kilometers.
